What we do
We offer the following services:
- Training of technical water treatment at home.
- Training a specific methodology to implement projects on safe water and hygiene, with a focus on training AYNI (see http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayni)Entrenamiento en una metodología específica para las escuelas, con enfoque de capacitación AYNI.
- Training in communication for a change in behavior and towards the adoption of practicing water disinfection and hygiene in the home.
Technical Assistance and Communication
- Support in identifying projects for safe water and hygiene.
- We provide continual technical assistance, monitoring and evaluations of the projects.
- Bacterial analysis of water.
- Access to our training materials and graphic arts, as well as periodicals.
- Development of educational materials and communications adapted to the projects.
- Integration Network- Latin American SODIS, and continuous information on progress in the investigation of SODIS.

Research on Safe Drinking Water and Hygiene Currently, several institutions are investigating different aspects of SODIS: their impact on health, efficiency in the inactivation of micro-organisms and socio-economic factors in its spread. Currently, we are cooperating with investigations by the Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (EAWAG) and Swiss National Center for Environmental Health (CENSA) of the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) of Mexico, among others. Institutional Strengthening We work on strengthening our partner institutions (NGOs, municipalities, universities, ministries) in technical matters related to safe water and hygiene, such as institutional issues (strengthening project management, improvement in the management of financial resources, improving institutions of governance, etc.).
