At the SODIS Foundation, we promote simple solutions that save lives.  We believe that these solutions can improve the health of many people quickly and economically.  The Foundation estimates that as little as $1 USD can provide an entire family with a sustainable means of disinfecting their water. 

 

Safe water for 80,000 children in Bolivia

80,000 school children in Bolivia will be trained in simple, affordable techniques to sustainably improve their health.  Techniques include hand washing and solar water purification (SODIS).
