This document has been prepared to accompany trainings.

These trainings are usually dedicated to Health Ministry personnel, Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) technicians, municipalities and cooperation organizations. This document accompanies theoretical and practical training about household water treatment and hygiene, complemented by hygiene basic notions. Within the household water treatment topic, the emphasis is put on methods that do not use electricity or sophisticated facilities, and that are suitable for anyone application.


It is not based on water and sanitation prior knowledge, as these concepts are often introduced during the training.
