PATHOSCREEN TEST

 PathoScreen

Pathoscreen test is used as an alternative or complementary approach to testing coliform. This test shows Presence / Absence (P / A) of coliforms and let us sound early warning on water pollution.

The proof of P / A is a qualitative test; it gives no indication of the number of organisms present. It is a simple test and does not require specialized personnel for its implementation. The culture medium used is a compound or mixture of chemicals (nutrients) that allow the growth of bacteria, Hach never indicates the composition of culture media.
